Circuit Breaker - Tax Senior Relief Program

65 or older and meet income guidelines - up to $1,100.00 is available

Our State Senator Adam Hinds made us aware of a Senior Citizen Property Tax Relief “Circuit Breaker” Program for Tax Year 2018. Anyone 65 or older by Dec. 2018 and meets some income requirements may be eligible for a maximum tax credit of $1,100.00. This tax credit is applied to what is owed for income tax. If the credit is more than what is owed, a refund (interest free) will be issued. Pick up a brochure in the Town Hall entrance or call toll-free at 800-392-6089. Senator Hinds’ brochure is on the town website: www.rowe-ma.gov
