NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 87, Section 3 (Public Shade Tree Law), notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Town of Rowe Tree Warden on June 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Rowe Town Hall, 321 Zoar Road, Rowe, MA 01367, or via Zoom Participation https://us02web.zoom.us/j/2880657035?omn=89390191137.

An informational site walk of Tunnel Road will take place on June 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Tunnel Road and Petrie Road. All trees are marked and noticed with the corresponding identification number below.

The purpose of this hearing is to consider a request from National Grid (Project 1019W1) for the removal of certain public shade trees located within the public rights-of-way of Tunnel Road and Hazleton Road in the Town of Rowe.

The specific trees petitioned for removal are designated by tree number, common name, taxonomic genus/species, and diameter at breast height (DBH) as follows:

Under M.G.L. Chapter 87, Section 4, any person objecting to the proposed removal of any or all of these public shade trees may object in writing to the Tree Warden at or before the time of the public hearing, or may appear and provide testimony at the public hearing.
