Cliff Swallows of Rowe

Join us at the Rowe Camp and Conference Center on Saturday, March 21 at 2 pm to learn about an exciting new swallow conservation project in Rowe! The Rowe Park Department is collaborating with field ornithologist Mara Silver to provide nesting habitat for the Rowe Cliff Swallow colony, which faithfully returns to town each spring to raise their young. The presentation will cover both Cliff Swallow natural history and a new free-standing nesting structure we are testing, designed just specifically for the swallows. We are hoping this structure will lure the colony to a safe, long-term location. No fee to attend but we will be accepting donations toward the cost of the nesting structure. Hope to see you there!
