Conservation Commissions are responsible for administrative the MA Wetlands Protection Act and where there are designated Conservation Lands managing and having sole authority over those. For instance, the Town of Heath has 345-acre Shapiro Conservation land admi interest under the MA Conservation Land Act over which they have sole authority.

Parks are a different set up altogether. I believe must have designated the Rowe Parks Committee to manage the original Pelham Lake Park. Lands added to that likely had separate town votes to designate who has control over them...likely the Parks Commission or the Selectboard. It would not likely be the Conservation Commission unless it is designated conservation land.
