will meet on Tuesday September 24, 2024 at 4:00-5:30 p.m.

- Establishment of a public comment protocol (see DCR Stewardship Council for an example) and consideration of hosting listening sessions
- How do we address misconceptions and inaccuracies in anti-forestry petitions as they pertain to the Partnership?
- Executive Committee Treasurer vacancy; vacant UMass Board seat (faculty member specializing in ecosystem functions, carbon cycling in terrestrial systems and climate change as it relates to forests)
- National Heritage Area designation—FRCOG and BRPC proposal
- Committee-proposed work: Farmers’ market pilot program with Woodcraft Collaborative (NRBED); videography and content creation (EOR)

*On Oct. 11, 2022, the Board of the public body created in 2018 voted unanimously to change its name from the “Mohawk Trail Woodlands Partnership” in its bylaws to Doing Business As the “Woodlands Partnership of Northwest Massachusetts” and requested the state legislature and USDA Forest Service to officially establish and recognize the new name.
